Biography
Ms.
Washburn is trusted counsel on personal injury, workers' compensation
and family law matters. She is a well-known advocate in the courtroom
and is an advocate for your case. Ms.
Washburn has been practicing in Lawrenceville since 1983. Concentrating
on personal injury, workers' compensation, family law and criminal
litigation, Ms. Washburn knows that is these four areas that touch
people's lives daily.
The most difficult cases involve divorce and the custody of minor children, particularly for a father that truly believes that he is the better parent for primary custody, or for a mother who is fighting against a father who has control of the family finances.
Ms. Washburn
knows that a work injury and loss of income and loss of physical
capability of working and supporting a family can also lead to family
disharmony. This office is honored to help you with your accident,
injury and family problems. We have trained paralegals and associates
and try to accommodate all clients as quickly as possible.
Divorce Matters:
You and your spouse cannot be represented by the same attorney.
Ethically, an attorney can only represent the interests of one party.
Have your own attorney guide you through this very difficult time
of your life while you are making decisions that affect you emotionally
and financially. Be aware that the child support guidelines have been radically amended!
Custody:
What is in the best interests of your children? Consult with an
attorney before entering into custodial agreements or litigation
in this area.

DUI and traffic:
Your age now has a direct impact on your driving privileges. Are
you under 21? A speeding ticket of 23 mph over the limit can cost
your driver's license. Have you had more than one DUI? A second
DUI will cause you to have the Interlock Ignition Device placed
on your car. In some cases, you must surrender your auto tag. Warning! Call us within 10 days of your DUI arrest to obtain advice to save your license.
Personal
Injury cases and Workers' Compensation cases: The insurance
company for the person or employer that caused your accident or
injury already has big law firms on retainer. Call our office and
get the information that you need before you ever talk to the insurance
adjuster. The adjuster is probably taping your telephone calls.
What is the statute of limitations on your injury? Get this information
quickly before your potential claim in barred in court.
